This policy describes what this website collects, why, who can see it, and the rights you have over it. It is written to be read — and it is short on drama, because this website does very little with your information: it passes an estimate request to the moving office, and stops.
Who we are, and who is responsible
Paramus Moving Inc. is a family-owned moving company. For information collected through this website, the company is the party responsible; the website itself is built and managed on the company's behalf by YelloPost, its website provider, acting under instruction.

How we use it — and the limits
- Answering youAn estimate request is emailed to the office and used to call you back, survey the move, and prepare the written estimate New Jersey law requires.
- Quality and safetyForm and chat submissions pass through spam filtering and rate limiting; chat conversations are reviewed internally for accuracy.
- Nothing else without askingSubmitting a form does not put you on a marketing list. We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to your move.
- No sale, everWe do not sell personal information and we do not share it for targeted advertising — and unlike the moving lead-generation sites, we never pass your details to competing companies.
Cookies, analytics, and local storage
- Local preferencesHiding the chat button or setting accessibility options is remembered in your own browser’s storage. It never leaves your device.
- AnalyticsThis site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages help visitors — never to build advertising profiles. Your browser’s settings and extensions can block it without breaking anything.
- Third-party cookiesEmbedded Google content may set Google’s own cookies, governed by Google’s policies.
- No ad trackingThis site sets no advertising cookies of its own and participates in no cross-site tracking.
Your rights
New Jersey’s data privacy law gives consumers rights over their personal information. Statutory thresholds aside, we honor these for anyone who asks, free of charge, without treating you differently for asking:

Security and retention

- At restEstimate requests live in the office’s email and in access-restricted logs on the website server.
- How longFor as long as we are in contact with you about a move, plus a reasonable period afterwards. Ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.
- Honest limitsNo system is perfectly secure. Please do not send financial information, government identifiers, or health information through this website — an estimate never needs them.
Common questions
- Do you sell my information?No. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it with data brokers, and we do not use it for targeted advertising on other websites. An estimate request goes to the moving office so a person can call you back — that is the whole pipeline.
- Who reads what I type into the chat?The chat assistant generates replies using an AI service, and conversations are reviewed by the small team that manages this website to keep the assistant accurate and useful. Chat is for questions about moving — do not paste financial details, government identifiers, or anything else sensitive into it.
- How long do you keep my estimate request?For as long as we are talking with you about a move, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.
- Do I have to accept cookies to use this site?No. The site works with cookies disabled. Preferences you set on your own device — like hiding the chat button or accessibility display settings — are stored locally in your browser and never sent to us.
- Is this website for children?No. It is written for adults planning a move. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, in keeping with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. If you believe a child has submitted information here, call us and we will delete it.
